The maintenance period for SAP Business Suite 7 and the previous SAP ERP HCM as an on-premise solution ends at the end of 2027 (extended maintenance until 2030). In the future, SAP foresees SAP SuccessFactors as a cloud solution for HR management. For companies that do not yet want to make the move to the cloud, SAP has announced an SAP HCM on-premise variant on an SAP S/4HANA instance, which will be available from 2022.
