SAP HCM Add-On Solution for Simplified ESS Overtime Request and Approval
The scdsoft Overtime Request module supports the entire request and approval process and is available for employees, managers, business partners, and works councils. Our add-on solution enables quick and easy overtime requests for employees or their managers. The subsequent approval process can be configured with multiple levels of approval. The scdsoft Overtime Request module takes into account various compensation options such as compensation, basic salary in exchange for time off, and ‘pay type decides’.
Overtime Request Integration in SAP HCM
The Overtime Request service aims to simplify the process of requesting and approving overtime. This service uses real-time data from SAP HCM Time Management and verifies it when overtime is requested. Upon successful approval, an attendance quota is recorded in IT 2007. The processing of this data continues as usual with SAP HCM Time Evaluation.
Requesting Both Individual and Collective Overtime
Our solution allows employees to request overtime through the Employee Self-Service (ESS). Managers can request overtime for employees as individual requests or as a collective entry if more than one employee is affected. In addition to basic information such as date and hours, additional comments and files (as justification) can be added to the request.
Flexible Process Workflow
The scdsoft Overtime Request service supports multi-level approval processes. Approval of the request can be carried out by line managers, business partners, and works councils, among others – process variations can be described flexibly. Involved parties are notified by email about received requests as well as approved or declined requests.
