Password management for our “Certificate Service” add-on

For our SAP HCM Add-On solution “Certificate Service,” we have developed a Password Manager Add-In in recent months. With the help of this add-in, users (ESS) can reset their password when needed. This password can be used to encrypt sensitive employee certificates (proof of earnings, income tax certificates, etc.). The certificate can be password-protected both when displayed online in the Employee Self-Service and when sent via email (as a PDF attachment).

If the user forgets their previous password, they can request a new password through our tool, which is generated and sent via the SAP HCM system. Password policies can also be configured for this process. The passwords are securely stored and compliant with data protection regulations within the SAP HCM system.
